    My collection:

My way of portraying yet more of my vintage record collection (my living room today). It’s a girls music day. Some classic 45 rpm singles with the original picture sleeves, all are pretty mint condition. I’m known for my vintage record collection, it sure has gotten larger, interesting, and even more fun the last few years.

Anybody see a Lesley favourite of thier own in this picture

Loved You don't Own Me the first time I heard it, but She's a Fool is easier & more fun to sing along with.

What does her inscription say? Looks like she had beautiful handwriting.

What a wonderful autograph. Do you call the whole thing an autograph? Or do you call it an inscription and an autograph? Or what?

Hi @Bookahtoo I believe in the autograph world definition goes, (a) just a signature is an autograph or signature, (b) if the signer puts the person’s name (like To John love Mary) or other words with, that falls under inscribed signature, at least that’s what I’ve been told in my experience in the signature collecting genre. I hope that was somewhat helpful?

So is what you have on the record sleeve an inscribed signature?

That would be described as an inscribed signature. Although that is also a printed facsimile signature for all the record sleeves produced.

@Bookahtoo Here is a back cover shot of a Lesley Gore LP in my collection that has Lesley’s true handwritten signature on it. This would be considered an inscribed autograph/signature because of the With Love. **This is original**

Yeah, it’s a treasured item in my vinyl collection. I also have a photo hand signed from her, I posted to this forum somewhere, not sure where though, it’s out there somewhere lol

@Bookahtoo I found the Lesley Gore signed photo, it’s on page 2 of Antique Discussion in my posting of Lesley Gore Sings Of Mixed Up Hearts 1963.

Yeas I thought so too, at first, then I realized Maven would have shown us the "up close" photo if it was! Thank you, Maven, for your willingness to share your beautiful collections with us! :cat:
