Give me some objective comments about these pieces

Sorry, not really seeing perfection, just my personal opinion of course, but you asked...

For me, the ornate frame on the plaque distracts from the subject, but as someone who has spent a lot of time around horses, the horse is unattractive to my eye anyway, with the head so deeply detailed it borders on skeletal, and the body is just so wrong, almost appearing to be gathered ruffles of flesh - but the bridle is pretty well-done.

The Crucifix does little for me either, not seeing any great quality, wonder about the holes going up from Christ's navel to the sternum, which seems, strangely, to have been fileted, and am finding myself oddly transfixed by the weird shaped, seemingly mismatched nipples - but do like the wood texture on the cross.

I can't really comment on them from a collectors point of view as they aren't really things I might collect. Just from what I've read, some plaques are silver over resin and from that have nice detail. I also am not sure if the frame of the same material as the image sets it off but maybe it's what people like...don't know.

I do have a lovely old horse and among other things, I love his kind face and eyes. This plaque horse has rather shrouded, drugged or angry eyes it seems to me.....
