People love cats, so if for resale, you'll probably find a buyer. This post reminds me of something I was meaning to mention on the board. My mom dragged me into "Hobby Lobby" to get some inexpensive frames last week. I've never been in a Hobby Lobby. It is a monolithic craft store, but they also sell furnishings, wall decor, etc. and I was shocked to see that much of what they sell mimics antiques and vintage pieces. There was a display, for example, with large solid glass animals, roosters, etc. all with mixed glass inside, and that had a Murano look about them, but made in China. Not your cat, but things like this: http://www.hobbylobby.com/Home-Decor-Frames/Decorative-Accessories/Accent-Pieces/Yellow-Head-Glass-Cat-with-Color-Inside/p/95815 I know Hobby Lobby isn't the only spot selling Chinese glass, but kind of surprised me and now I'm even more skeptical about figural glass pieces I run into at the thrift. Wait for others to comment though.
