Glass Vase Gold Finish

    IMG_9245.JPG IMG_9246.JPG IMG_9247.JPG Wonder if this is the original finish? There is spiral design on the interior but what's the point when you can't see it on the outside?

    A previous owner might have spray painted it to class it up a little. I don't think there's anything to lose by removing the paint. Is it clear glass underneath?

    Just a suggestion, the mfgr (manufacturer) may have over-supplied the market with clear, striped vases, and sprayed it gold to enable the sale of the excess.
