Glasses Wih Eagle and Star Crest

    Would anyone know this symbol? Eagle with a star, branch in one claw and lightning bolts? in the other claw.

    Got a dollar bill handy? Check out the eagle on the back. Not an exact match, but you get the idea. I would suspect that the official US eagle design is protected from use on non-governmental items - thus the variance on your glasses. Maybe something related to the bi-centennial?
