Featured Glassies: Green glass Ashtray?

    Good afternoon, folks. Probably have a no more than a snowball's chance in h*ll figuring this one out. :happy: Exactly what do I have here and by who? My first thought is that it is an ashtray. It is possible that it still is, but I wasn't able to find it in The Big Ashtray Museum. It would have 18 possible rest. Dots/bumps on the very bottom. Bottom row are "Vs". Top row are almost like a thumbprint "V". About 4 3/4" diameter x 2 3/4" high. Thank you

    I'll bet it had a lid that fit exactly all those '18 rest'.
    The hobnail bottom seems to be clear, as opposed to the green body...perhaps an illusion?
    I don't think it's an ashtray.

    It isn't clear. Just a lighter green. A top would have be sawtooth to fit. No inner ledge.
