squeeeeee!!!!!!!!! It's gorgeous! :joyful: Thank you for showing it. I don't recognize the marks, but we do have members who are familiar with Egyptian pieces and I'm sure they will love to see this too! :joyful:

I'm afraid your 3rd image down....close-up of a mark...is a bit too blurry to really see what the mark is.....back the camera away a bit and try to refocus a bit, please. Thanks!!

Those are not Egyptian gold marks. Not from any North African country. Not Iraq or Iran either.
Maybe another Middle Eastern country, or possibly Pakistan?

@Ownedbybear , do you recognize these as Emirates marks?

More than anything, kind of looks like a bunch of people clamored together.......

Funny you should say that, my first thought was UAE. Looks very like some of their modern pieces. I saw many necklaces and bracelets in the gold souk made of that mesh that the stone is set in. Almost a kind of liquid gold work. And that's certainly Arabic, not that I can make sense of it. There's a word for that mesh style.

Wow interesting! one of my relatives bought this piece in the early 70s in Cairo,
thats why i thought this was made in Egypt

Maybe the Egyptians imported it from the Emirates. Jewellery travels even more than people do.;)

Emirati jewellery itself is sometimes made in India, even - it's wherever the craft is.

True. The rubies look Indian 'native' cut.
