[QUOTE="Diggummup, post: 423961, member: 5877"]I picked three of these pins up a while back and could never figure out what they represent. Two are marked sterling with an Irons & Russell Co. maker mark and have a red enamel V added to the front. The third one is 10k gold but does not have the Irons & Russell Co. maker mark nor does it have the added V logo. My question is... Do you think this is a WW2 era V for Victory logo? Also, The blue enameled pattern. Has anyone ever seen this particular pattern or logo before? I know they did a lot of fraternal and society emblems. I know there are catalogs out there also. Just don't have any access to them. They have a safety catch also so post 1910. Thanks.
