You are very welcome, spread the word as I can only inform/invite 5 AB members per day and there are still lots left.

So many familiar faces. I hope the board does well and garners experts beyond eBay. Maybe some who gave up there will show up here?

May as well try to post a picture. My avatar (at the moment) is a detail of this painting: The Embarkation of Henry VIII at Dover (in the English Royal Collections)

    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v...ire_Embarkation_of_Henry_VIII_zps1bc91635.jpg

Henry was on his way to meet the French King Francis I, a meeting called "The Field of Gold"

I like northern art of this period. The renaissance was well underway but lots of Gothic elements still remain. To my mind, they give art of this period a touch of fantasy.

Also have to figure out what size pictures are appropriate. At 800 pixel width, this is large by my standards.

Well that doesn't seem to have worked. Was looking for an embedded picture.

I have to try one more time:

    Nothing but grief.

    Tomorrow is another day.
