This crackle glazed figure is a seated woman and her pose is reminiscent of Chinese goddesses.

However , she has the Gouda house mark and Plazuid which dates after 1928. There appears to be moulded writing on the base and a rubbing reveals what looks like Eliza.

I spent hours trying to find another before bidding on this but found nothing but bought her anyway.

    She’s 19.5 cm tall.

I imagine that she is mid 20th century but would welcome thoughts from Gouda collectors.

She is lovely, John. She is one of the Art Deco figurines made by Gouda.
Dutch Art Nouveau and Art Deco were influenced by Indonesian art.
Possibly a design by Etha Lempke, but let's wait for @say_it_slowly .:)

I wish I could help but I know virtually nothing about Gouda figures. The book I have "The World of Gouda Pottery" by Ritvo only mentions a bit about the figures and show only one.

I did find that there are two books by Karelse that deal with figures but I have neither.
    Karelse book:

This is the little shown in the book by Ritvo concerning figures and the time periods they were made.

Thank you for trying. I will put it on eBay and hope that it finds it's right price.
