The decoration is called Cake Icing Flowers - or something to that effect.

Very popular in the 1950s - 60s. Made in Italy, Japan, Austria, and with your sticker showing Czechoslovakia.

I thought Czechoslovakia stopped in 1939, so I'm a little confused on the sticker. Hopefully, someone who knows will explain that for us.
I don't think your glass was made in the 1930s.

No, Czechoslovakia went on till the split into Slovakia and Czech Republic. These look 60s or later from the label. Very pretty but low value.

Czechoslovakia was invaded by Germany in 1939 but glass and crystal production continued. Bohemia became part of the so-called autonomous Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia, a name not found on labels.
After WWII it became the Czechoslovak Republic, then Czechoslovak Socialist Republic, then Czechoslovak Federal Republic. All Czechoslovakia to us in the West.
As obb said, it was Czechoslovakia until the partition. The Czechoslovak Federal Republic was formally dissolved in 1993 and became two separate states, the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic. Bohemia is part of the Czech Republic.

I will be testing you on this later.;):hilarious:

Already copied and printed for further study:)

    Thank you.
Afraid history and geography were not strong points for me.
I'm actually learning more history through glass and import time periods.

Thanks for the education to you and Owned.

Thank you all, so it is from the 60's, and not very valuable, correct? I'm thinking maybe I will just keep it, it is really pretty, except for the ashtray, not a smoker.

The ashtray holds a small, chubby, flowering plant. :)

Or use it as a trinket tray, pin tray. It is very pretty, just like the others.
