unable to load photo, will try again
looking to price this cabinet at????
Its hard to see your pics, but it looks light it MIGHT be a campaign desk or a ship's desk . The handles might be original,so make sure before you replace them. Where are you located ?
Resize your photos to 480x640 or whatever the second dimension becomes.
Load them then utilize the full image button for all photos always.
If that is nautical in origin then contact a shop that specializes. There was a huge one in San Diego. Captain's something or other.
There's also a large vintage and reproduction place in Port Townsend, WA. Try them too.
If not then eBay, Etsy, etc.
Hang on for others like Brad as well.
Much better photos would be much better for helping you.
Any factory marks or labels?
look for hidden drawers, specifically amongst those shelves on top or those little things on the side of the top drawer....might be hidden treasures!
I am not a furniture person, but played one once and found hidden drawers, just sayin!
Hard to tell from the small pics but better than none at all Looks to be a circa 1920 English oak drop-front desk. Is the drop front missing? The pulls are typical of the arts and crafts movement but it will be hit or miss finding one. Ebay may be your best bet. You may need to buy a pair similar and use them just on the top drawer. Value really is dependent on location and venue. Whether or not it is complete will make a difference. As-is, I would be lucky to get $30-40.00 for it here in my semi-rural Midwest location. Complete and in a shop price would be around $150.00 here. You might do better in large cities or other locations with a better market.
no marks or labels
