Featured Grotesque figurine,African ?

    hi all. Yes it is grotesque,but i absolutely love it ! 8 inches high. I found one somewhat like it online but they didnt seem to know what its meant to represent. They identified it as being from Mali. I couldnt make that connection .Any and all input is appreciated.

    Yeah,not after reading about it ! it'll go in the spare room.Should be okay since I refuse to let anyone sleep in there ! Its my treasure room. :)

    FYI, the Zulu are in South Africa and the Bamana are in West Africa. They may have crossover in the mythology ... I do not know. I started to look for museum information, but dinner needs to get started. :)
