Hand Painted Vase.. could this be Argyle

    Hi, I'm a little stumped with this find, and would really appreciate some help.

    The base I believe reads; Argyle Made in England. However, when I Google'd to find more info, I couldn't find any pieces that were handwritten. Have I got the name wrong?

    I would really appreciate your comments.

    There seem to be more letters at the end of Argyll, to make it centered? And was there more than one Argyll Pottery? The things I see are from Scotland.

    Hi,
    Hmm I think you're probably right regarding the letters.
    When I searched, I found there's anArgyle Pottery and also Argyll pottery, I dismissed the latter because they're made in Scotland.
