Handcarved stone made by ?

    Hand carved stone and looks like a two persons holding each other laying . Anybody any idea where made and maybe what artists make stone carving in this style ? And what stone could this be ?     I see four..mother, father,older child and babe in arms...but that's just me

    I see the same. And they are standing next to each other, the first picture is the right position. From left to right, older child, father, and mother with child in her left arm.

    Agree, a family of four. Stone looks like something from the serpentine family.

    But taken the statue like it is in this composition and the stone being serpentine related is there any link to where made ?

    Neither Inuit nor African. Just someone who took a couple of classes at a local art school.

    I agree, nothing tribal or ethnic about it. Just a charming home made piece, probably made not too far from where you found it.
