Handwritten or printed poem on this book plate?

Once we figured out the poem was hand-written, I've been assuming the page was taken out of a book and the owner wrote the poem. It seems likely she was the woman Bakers found in Connecticut.

Chances are she did copy it from a book or magazine, from a version that hasn't surfaced. But it's also possible she modified it to her taste. Although it seems unlikely, it's also possible she actually was the original poet. Unfortunately, I don't think we're ever going to know, much as I'd like to.

I'm planning on listing this on eBay, so will probably just share what we discovered and leave it up to the buyer's imagination.
