Featured Has anyone seen this image before?

    image.jpg image.jpg I still pick up paintings everynow and then. This one was wrapped in plastic and and tucked behind some prints at a local thrift store. Upon moving the prints, I seen this painting of this boy. Now, I know I have seen this image or maybe a girl figure in the same pose with same background before. The artist name appears to be Melinda Staples 1987.

    Oil on canvas 24x36

    Just curious, has anyone seen a painting like this or close to it? I feel like I'm losing it--scratching my head.

    My first thought was Prince William ( :) ), but I suspect that it is just a portrait of someone's beloved child.
