I just acquired a house with furniture that I will be selling. Can anyone tell me about this piece?

 

What kind of hardware is on it? What kind of screws? Phillips or slotted?

The form is what was called a court cupboard, but there is not enough detail to deduce any more.

 

It doesn't appear to be a sideboard as there is no serving area. It may be a linen press/closet.

What's going on in this area?
