I got this piece today. It is enameled, but not sure if the metal is pewter or nickel. When I polished it, it rubs off dark. It looks handmade, but not sure, no markings. Any information would be appreciated. Thank You!

I wasnt sure it was silver so I put it in Baking soda and hot water then rinse it off and dry and use a cloth to clean it

Would not have been my first choice, but I don't think you hurt it.

Not to me, sorry. I have a collection of Amazigh (Berber) jewellery. Yes, they use green and blue enamel, mostly together with yellow, but not like this.
And looking at the technique, Amazigh enamel is either almost flush with the cloison wire it is in, or it sits lower than the cloison. It is never higher than the wire.
The style is also very different. This is the Moroccan Amazigh enamel style, mostly from the region of Tiznit:

as far as the metal, would say it it more pewter because it is more heavy and it is not pure metal, the magnet doesn't stick

I think it is a pretty costume pendant. Possibly inspired by Zuni jewellery, but not by Berber jewellery.

Coin silver, me thinks. .800, perhaps?

I don't think it could be pewter; the melting point is too low for fired enamel. The color would have to be cold paint.
