Hello, Nice to meet everyone here :) I’ve just joined this forum because I love collecting antique & vintage items. I just came across this amazing little Royal Winton Grimwades breakfast set & I can’t find any items in the same print online. Can anyone offer any further info, like the name of the print or the likely year of production? I’m guessing 1930s… Kind regards, Elissa

    How sweet, I love it!
THIS person says 1930s and calls the pattern Iris... but I can't find any other examples and the pattern name may not be "official". Many patterns never had names. Their photo:

According to the following info, your mark is from approximately 1934-50.

Wow, thanks so much! This is very helpful - I think it’s the same print … fascinating there’s no official print name …. I’m keen to learn more :)

    You're welcome!
I'm not sure what you mean by unofficial production runs...
I simply meant that many old pottery/china patterns were never given names by their makers... and it's possible that the seller of the plate I pictured named it herself/himself when listing. Sorry that I didn't express that more clearly. :)

If you're thinking about using these, there seems to be lots of crazing, and that opens the pieces to staining. Good for display though.

I see you've now edited out your comment about "unofficial production runs", which makes my reply confusing for readers...
