Hello from Kent! New member interested in silver history

Hello everyone,

I wanted to pop in and introduce myself to the community. I'm based in Kent, UK, and while I am quite new to the world of antiques, I’ve recently developed a real fascination for historic British metalware and the stories behind old makers.

I stumbled across this wonderful forum while trying to research a rare late-Victorian item that came into my possession, and I was incredibly impressed by the depth of knowledge shared by the members here.

I’m looking forward to learning from you all, reading through the threads, and sharing my own piece in the Silver and Metalware section very soon once I have my photos ready.
