Hello I’m a newbie !

Hi
I am Laurel, a new collector/hobbyist/etc. of antiquities, but I have possessed a lifelong interest in all things old enough to be strange and or different from the stuff we have, use, make etc. in today’s era.
Even with this lifelong interest/ curiosity I have done little to educate myself in any area really, I have collected a few things here and there. I am beginning to look things up and my interest has grown into full blown hobby and now I am a treasure hunter / compulsive thrift store and estate sale shopper!
I just wanted to say hello to everyone and let y’all know my questions may seem silly but I am genuinely a newbie and trying to educate myself.
My areas of interests (so far)(consistently getting more):

• Books
• Coins
• Lamps/furniture
• Anything mermaid or beach Related
• Maps
• Glass bottles And glass in general
• locks and keys
• Pocket watches
• Wooden boxes
• Ashtrays/lighters smoking related
• Massage therapy and muscle, bone anatomy related items medical stuff. ( I am a licensed massage therapist)
• 
  

I cant think of anything else at this time but I’m sure there is more.
