Hello! I'm new here, would anyone be able to help me identify this pottery mark and the maker? TY!

    hmmm, an interesting one, i would think more studio pottery, but you don't really see numbers like that with studio types, nice though

    the mark is like an e then with a reverse e

    how long have you had it.....

    To me it looks like an E and a B, like this Ethel Julia Bouffleaur mark

    Thanks you for responding! Im in CT, I haven't had it for very long, I actually picked it up at a thrift store about a month ago

    it looks like there was something written on it as well but its very faint in the center of the image.

    I like it.In my studio pottery phase if I learned nothing else I learned its nigh impossible to identify most of them. Needs a good wash though . :)

    If I could add some more color to why I asked the question, I was selling it on etsy because my wife wasn't a big fan of it after I brought it home - and someone interested in buying it is a pottery dealer who only sells high ticket items - so I kinda wanted to make sure I wasn't sitting on something more valuable than I had assumed before I let it go

    Sometimes it is worth a bit more research/checking, but sometimes even high-ticket dealers get it wrong. There are a couple of studio pottery groups on Facebook that might help.
