Hello to everyone

    Hi, I've just found this forum and it looks like something I've wanted and needed for ages, a place to obtain identification help but also to discuss and enthuse with like-minded folk. I am a lover of history and collector of almost anything old and interesting (and usually cheap, often damaged) items, ceramics being my chief interest. I buy mainly at auctions and car boot sales, and particularly like buying unidentified items for the fun of research. I try to sell a few things on ebay, but the collections of unidentified items and those I want to keep are now filling up many boxes and shelves, and not many end up being sold.
    I also have a growing collection of books on ceramics, so may be of help occasionally to those wishing to identify odd bits of china. I'm already getting ideas on which items I want to post first, and there are lots of threads already here I'd like to read through. So much to do, so little time . . .
