Hello :-)

    Hi All,

    I decided to join because I bought a cabinet I was interested in identifying (there's a thread in Furniture). To be completely, 100% upfront and honest though- I have ZERO knowledge about antiques, eras, historical styles etc. That said, I love my old furniture... and I think this may be the beginning of a steep and lovely learning curve!

    Hi Joanne, welcome. I have found from experience that there is no question you can't ask here, as long as you are prepare to accept honest advice that your great great grandmother's $20 million family heirloom Monet is actually a fake. Someone always has the right answer. Enjoy. ;)
