Hello, I really need help solving this mystery! I found this enormous handmade glass vase. It was buried in my backyard for at least 20 years! I've literally been online for years now every day looking for something that helps me understand why it was buried and what its history might reveal. It’s so intriguing that someone would cover this beauty up with dirt forever?!? I'd greatly appreciate any opinions you could offer. Thank you so much in advance. It's 24" high and weighs about 13 lbs. It is cased in super heavy thick glass or crystal.

I found a few marks on it, and have found out some intriguing details about it. I believe I found a pun zone or punch mark on the side near the bottom and another that looks like a signature in silver leaf under and around the rim. I broke out my magnifying glass. The struggle is real!! LOL ! Thank you in advance!

update: I’ll be posting some incredible photos of it today and tonight. It changes in front of your eyes. I think I may have seen Seguso and the word arte? I’m new so please be patient as I learn how to use this site. Stay tuned… it’s an Op Art piece. It will blow your mind when you see all of the photos and how it changes. I’m having issues uploading the photos:-(
