Featured Help dating a few pieces

two pieces I found in this mess I’ve acquired...I actually like both. Was thinking about cleaning them up but I think I like them like that. Well I like the bracelet like that but not so much the brooch/pin but I don’t want to ruin it.

The bracelet,nearly impossible without a maker's mark to even start with.

 

The bracelet looks 1940s to me. Very nice, Ashley.

 

I'm with AJ on this. Stylistically looks vintage, I would also guess 1940s (...possibly 50s) as well. It is a very attractive piece.

 

Looks like. Beyond that it's hard to say.

 

polish both to within an inch of it's life........they'll gleam!!!!!!!

but the top of the bracelet only polish the raised parts..

Dating that bracelet... Not sure it really matters.

 

Bracelet is beautiful!. That would be a keeper for me.

 

There’s a similar pin or button on eBay for $25.00 (I know, I know). I think the button could be possibly 1930s. One website suggested it was David with a slingshot slaying Goliath (not sure about that....). It appears to have originated from Baltimore.

 

Certainly looks like David. In action, rather than contemplation.

Found this ring today. Very interesting.

 

Definitely Mexican. It has an old mark, but I'm not expert enough to say whose.

 

I agree, Mexican. Pre-Columbian inspired, the style started by Spratling, although this is not Spratling.
But I thought I'd wait until Ashley has cleaned it so we can see the mark.

 

Okie dokie gimme a min and I’ll try to get a picture of it. Don’t have time to clean it atm but let’s see if you can make it out. It’s super cool . I think a size 11

 

Sorry, I can't find this exact mark. It is a pre-1980 mark, but how much pre?
