Help ID’ing unique Chinese/Japanese vase/signature

    I really want to see/hope/pray, if anyone can read the signature. Beautiful old vase. Looking like bamboo scribing on one side. I had to use a flash to get better view. Photos do not do justice to the iridescent glaze on the inside. 11” X 11”

    Can anybody describe this vase in terms I can better search it. Thank you

    It's raku so you might use that as a search term if you haven't tried it already.

    I can't really make out the mark properly, but it may just be an abbreviated form of Japan Made

    Thank you for that. Wow, talk about a wide range of value. Most but not all have American signatures, what’s with that?... ;) None with the drawing inscribed. This is going to add a lot of overtime to my job :hilarious::hilarious::hilarious:

    One of the symbols looks similar to the Arita mark - but I know nothing about the mark :-(
