We purchased this sideboard from a local antique store and I'm wondering if anyone can help me with details/history. It has 3 drawers, top one is lined with green felt in 3 sections. Each cabinet on end has a shelf in the center, fixed, solid wood. There are gold locking mechanisms inside the doors and a sticker that reads 'Maple Quality' inside the top drawer. Maple (as we see on the tag), ca. 1950s. Serpentine front buffet, sideboard or what have you. Nice enough quality, but not antique and a difficult sell these days.

OTOH it's a nice hunk of furniture, better quality than the average store sells these days, and attractive. Sure beat buying a new one!

Ghopper is right on. Mish-mash of styles but attractive enough.
