Featured Help ID signature on nude oil painting

    Haven't bought much art in awhile but there was a estate sale two houses down from me and this was advertised! I paid 60.00 for it. I think it's pretty well done. I can't seem to make out the signature though. There is a label on back. Thank you for any info!

    Ah, he exhibited at the St. Louis World's Fair representing, with others, Venice.

    Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

    AND the frame I'd say is worth at LEAST that, although I didn't see a size listed!! Nice painting!! I came close to your guess as well, @rink28....different colors I used, but couldn't make logistical sense of it......Nice that Anund knew it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
