Featured HELP IDENTIFY..burl wood snuff box ?? and signature

i just spoke to someone at geo c brilant and they said it was sold a long time ago but it seems to be on the up and up...i gave her the sku number

 

the guy i purchased it from is a wackadoodle...his wife is always yelling at him saying your selling things too cheap...he is seen at all the llocal auctions here where i live and hes always going out of state to buy...hes a strange guy

 

that's not selling........... that's giving away !!!!!!!!!

u buy at $750...and sell for $20.......one can only do the for so long.......unless you have 2 million in the bank !!!

 

this guy started off asking 50 dollars and people put it down then he asked someone for 40 and they walked away and then i picked it up about 20 minutes later and he said i gotta get at least 20 bucks and i almost walked away cause the liner was peeling and there was a crack..but i never saw a box with wooden hinges so i just took it...this was unexpected..but the one thing i can say is he is known and hes nuts..other people have been getting great deals for years from him...im thinking he might be getting dementia..cause again his wife keeps questioning what he paid for things..i might have a talk with her this next sunday...if anyone wants to talk about it on the phone i would love to tell the story..ill check back later im eating dinner at my daughters

 

also i put in the glass area 2 purple pieces of glass yesterday..one someone said it was boyer cause i was not sure what it said...i thought it was boyd..he charged me 5 bucks for it and the smaller little pitcher he threw in for free..same guy that sold me the wood box well its mine now...i also put other stuff to be identified but i purchased those from other dealers one was a sterling medal and what i thought was a tomahawk turned out to be a skull cracker..2 bucks for the medal and 25 for the skull cracker ...again ill check back after dinner

 

I love a good deal but yeah I would speak to his wife because she's gonna have nothing in the bank account if he keeps this up!

 

i dont buy alot of jewelry but now i know why the dealers are all standing around his table in a circle making piles..i bought 2 really nice pieces of bakelite a while back but it never dawned on me about the gold and silver...i think i made a mistake in comment above

 

id love to get some opinions on the bakelite...would anyone want to see photos
