Help identify Chinese? Hallmark

I was given this lovely tea cup just wondering if anyone know who created it? I can't seem to find the same item when I google images of Chinese tea cups. Any information would be great. Year made etc...

What is the size? Looks more like a covered rice bowl.

 

It's tea cup size, small in size. Similar ones are called Gaiwan tea cup with lid & saucer. I'm just not sure what this one is...I've searched all over and no luck.

 

It is Japanese. Very pretty, but not very old.

Ah thank you for the info... How do you know it's Japanese? Curiosity...I just assumed it was Chinese.

 

The design of the mark and the way the characters are written (printed really) look very Japanese, and that specific blue is also very Japanese.
