Anyone recognize this mark? The handle is Sterling, not Silverplate and the marks indicate 1922 from the handle. Marks M and Lion Passant and Minerva Head on handle but we can’t seem to figure out the hallmark. Thanks I’m advance. Yes, it is Plateelbakkerij Zuid Holland.:)
Zuid Holland is a province on the west coast of the Netherlands. Gouda is one of the historic towns there. More famous places are Rotterdam and The Hague.

The lion mark is the hallmark, the Minerva head the duty mark.
The Plateelbakkerij Zuid Holland mark is for the manufacturer of the dish, there are no hallmarks for ceramics because they are not precious metal.;)

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

Yes, somebody would be able to give more information with a photo of the marks.
