Hi to all- my curiosity never ends, and here is another beautiful (in my opinion) object, that i know very little about, except that it have been in the family since we had an antique shop which bought most of the antiques for sale in the UK, in early 1970's. Even the material is a mystery to me, it looks like pottery, but are quite smooth - so i am a bit puzzled.

That is all i know, but it is a very nice object, in immaculate order, so i do hope that there are someone out there who can help identify it, and maybe even suggest a value, as it will be sold.

    I am enclosing photos, and hope to hear from you! 2019-01-29 12.19.15.jpg 2019-01-29 12.19.20.jpg 2019-01-29 12.19.32.jpg 2019-01-29 12.20.25.jpg 2019-01-29 12.19.40.jpg 2019-01-29 12.19.51.jpg 2019-01-29 12.19.56.jpg

Thanks, but it does not look and feel like enamel to me? A mix? Still confused, but it is a very nice piece! :)

I think it's absolutely beautiful as well! Sorry, can't say if it's by this exact maker but if you google Brownhills Pottery Company and even add bamboo pitcher, there are many very similar.

The cream colored ground looks like an orange peel surface treatment.

British, indeed. B P CO can be one of four makers, but my money is on Brownhils, it's typical.
