    Hi

    the surrounding small stones are 100% coming up as diamonds on both my testers

    they absolutely do not, and they’d be in trouble if trading standards saw that letterhead.

    My first thought was topaz for the main stone, treated diamonds for the smaller stones. But I don't have it in hand, so I can't test it, and there are clear blue quartzes.

    Also, we need to see the colour of the stone, not of the background. Please take photos of clear stones against a white beckground.

    As for the period, it is pretty recent, probably this century.
    Exactly. Doesn't inspire confidence.

    Y'all would know European appraisal forms and laws better than I ever could. Since the appraisal form is so questionable, it throws the whole thing into doubt. I'd even check the metal.
