IMG_4777.jpeg IMG_4778.jpeg IMG_4780.jpeg IMG_4865.jpeg I found this piece at a flea market and paired it with a lid (it originally came without one). I’m not sure if it was meant to have a lid or if this one belongs to it, but it fits perfectly.

I have no idea what the silver marks mean. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

First mark looks like a Viking ship and the last one like a wolf's head. Scandinavian?
StFerling is probably just Sterling misstamped

Unusual marks like that, that are clearly not official assay marks, are usually American.
In this case it is Hartford Sterling Co from Philadelphia:

In your defense, it looked quite hairy and the nose too thin and pointy for a horse.;)

The one from 925-1000 is much clearer

    It’s a jewellery box right?

Could be, it looks like there is glue on the inside that would have held a velvet or satin lining in place.

Without a lining, trinket box is a coverall term for such small boxes.

With the 1st pic I keep thinking there's a small spoon sticking out, but that's the power cord in the background :D

It is Sterling silver meaning it has 92.5% pure silver mixed 7.5% in other metals. It is an open salt cellar.

The OP stated "I found this piece at a flea market and paired it with a lid (it originally came without one)"
He found a lid that fit it, not original to the salt

In fact, the lid may actually be original. The seller had a bunch of silver miniatures (mostly broken) and this lid was lying 20 cm away.
