Hello @RoamingPicker & welcome to the forum!!:happy:

I can't help you with the mark but we do have several members who are very knowledgeable when it comes to silver.

It may help if you would post a couple of photos of the piece itself.

Sometimes the style of the piece or the decoration on the piece can help with the identification of the maker.

Since this is an international forum members are here all hours of the day & night depending on where they live. Also, not everyone is here on a daily basis so it might take a few days.

So keep checking back over the next few days. :):)

Welcome - perhaps you might share an image of the piece? The maker was Charles H. Cole of Montclair, NJ, mid 20th century - the eyes, nose and mouth spell his last name...

...& some of our members are so knowledgeable they don't need to see the entire. piece. ;):rolleyes: :hilarious::hilarious:

However, we would all still love to see your piece of silver.:happy:

I was wondering what this set would be used for when I saw that spoon.

Early to late 20th century salt sifter spoons - the early piece and the Cole design only marked 'Sterling', the third purchased from the maker in the late 1990s (the name eludes me, but have it somewhere), the lower two are mid 20th century Navajo, by Kenneth Begay and his cousin George Kee for the White Hogan Shop.

Hi, sorry for the delay in response. I took a nice long weekend in the mountains. :) I really got some great info thanks to all! I am in Virginia. My friend had a large collection of family silver and I got some nice pieces from her.
