Featured Help Identifying Toy Steam Engine

    Hello. I recently purchased a few toy steam engines at an estate sale and I would like some help identifying one of them. The only mark on it is on the bottom and it says made in Great Britain. I do not know if what I have is complete or whether it is operational. Any help would be greatly appreciated IMG_1158.jpg

    Might be part of a Mamod one.

    Hello,
    What you have their is a hot air engine made by Charlton Davis.
    I'm not sure if the wick is still present with your engine but as you will see from the photos below yours is missing the black dome "oven".
    If it is working I would think it would sell for $50 (give or take).
    One seller stated that they used a propane torch to test the engine.
    I have included some screen shots from my research.
