Featured Help me understand :)

    Ok, good morning all.

    So i inherited a piece of art which i would like to get framed. But i would like to know more about the piece. The only bits i can work out are the origin - Sweden and the number 16/390

    So i turn to the wonderful minds of you guys to see if you can shed any light on this for me.

    I appreciate this may not count as antique, but i am fast running out of ideas as to identify the artist. Any help would be highly appreciated.

    Here is brief biographical information about the artist, translated from the Swedish version of Wikipedia.

    Marion Belin , born May 14, 1933 in Vänersborg , is a Swedish artist .

    She is the daughter of the surveyor Nils Belin. She studied at the School of Art in Stockholm in the late 1950s. She completed her first exhibition in 1980 and has since participated in several nationally and internationally acclaimed exhibitions. Her art consists of narrative gouaches in intense colors with people, animals and flowers as well as a large number of illustration assignments. For Västerås municipality, she has painted a deer in the City Parade to Västerås. Belin is represented at Västerås Art Museum and the Swedish Arts Council .
