Featured HELP!!! Need to repair my fur coat myself

There exists a fur repair mesh that is very strong. It comes in large pieces and has a lightweight glue on back and waxing paper peels off. It’s cut to size of repair. This is NOT heated. I don’t know the name but feels soft like a silk would, but probably a man made fine tightly woven thread count of a Dow product. As others have stated if the thread is dried out and the fur looks good it was probably put in plastic and a closed in a closet. It can rip just trying to repair. If the fur has dried only in certain areas this works too. Fur can outlast a good car if cleaned, conditioned and cold stored. As far as a needle to repair, I’ve done that over the mesh. I used a fine needle because it was a lightweight fur. I don’t know what would be needed on a beaver type fur and I hope I will never have to repair one. Good luck. The mesh I spoke of is used by furriers, mine mailed it to me for an emergency repair. Maybe a supplier to furriers can be found on line.
