Featured Help needed with age/era of these cameo screw back earrings

I was wondering if these were 1930's or earlier. They are 1 1/4" long and I think they are shell as they are nicely translucent. Thank you for any help.

Really cute-straight out of 'Upstairs Downstairs'.

 

I think of her as 'corsage lady' & she began to appear in 1930 or so. You still see her in the 1950s, but the construction of the earrings makes me agree with others that 30s more likely.

@bosko69, I agree, they are sweet.

 

Those would be very easy to make into pierced earrings and the old findings could be saved .

 

My daughter would love those for her 1920 and 30's outfits.
