    DINGDINGDING! I think it's Georgian too and probably has had several lives. Some French gent wore it as a button on a fancy waistcoat. A lady later made it into a brooch, and then someone even later added the bail. I'm still keeping an eye out for something like that!

    Fantastic collection, they are all so beautiful. The brooch in the main post has its gems arranged a bit like a mosaic? :happy:
