Featured HELP PLEASE UNKNOW BEAUTIFUL PAINTING

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone can help me with this.
My mom and I purchased this at an estate sale in upstate NY, about 10 years ago. It hung in her living room until she passed and now it hangs in mine. We both loved it, she always said it was a good piece but didnt know much about it and couldnt find anything on the internet about it.
It looks old, very dark, but I imagine it would be stunning if it was professionally cleaned.
It would mean so much if anyone had any info on this. Thank you for reading and looking.
I will measure the size when I get home.
** it measures approximately 32" long by 22" wide with the frame.
Signature is on the bottom right, looks like Dusseldorf on the bottom, not sure of the top name.

Yes, thank you.I found that there was an art school called Dusseldorf..I think in Germany. I dont know much more than that.

That's a good thought. The artist of your work might well have been associated with the Düsseldorf Academy in that city. 4,000 artists were, according to wikipedia.org. Here is a list of the most famous ones. I doubt, however, your artist is on the list because of the decorative nature of your still life. As to date, I would think early 20th century or a tad earlier.

Hi and WELCOME! Nice painting! See if this helps anyone in identifying the signature....I've only used various filters and removed some fine distracting tiny 'dots' around it....and lightened it....hope it helps....others are better at guessing names than I am!!! @i need help, @Bakersgma, @Ownedbybear ??

Looks like surname starts with a Z to my eye. Let's see what other think. Surely we can narrow it down to just a few options.

How about first letter an initial, because then there's that long line underneath the rest of the siggy?????? So second letter COULD be start of last name????

 

Zeslini sounds rather like an Italian biscuit brand.

 

Don't clean it. Most "restorers" are hacks.
