Not a costume jewelry specialist... I found that, saying their pieces are very sought after:

It seems there is polish remainings which should go away with a dry soft tooth brush. Lacking rhinestones can be replaced cheaply if you get the right size.
Dead/tarnished others need to be removed and changed/replaced, no way to revive them:(
I know there is some costume jewelry restorers, other joolies will surely lead you in right place:)

@bobsyouruncle, that is a beauty and well worth repairing I think. If you are on FaceBook there is a group called Restore Repair Repurpose Vintage Costume Jewelry. There are lots of educational files on everything from where to find rhinestones to what type of glue to use. This would actually be a simple (but tedious) repair as described very well by @kyratango. If you are not confident of your skills to do it yourself I know there are folks on there that do repair work like this. No idea how much it might cost. Good luck, that piece would go straight into my huge pile of repairs to do........:arghh:

Thank you both..unfortunately I’m not on Facebook .. i will do some googling on place to have it repaired ( I’m in Ontario)
From what you have told me it would be worth the repair..if you have any further ideas of where to find rhinestones or repairer please let me know
    Thanks again

Another good repair service is Rhinestone Rosie, in Seattle; she works mostly by mail rather than brick-and-mortar these days, so it is not necessary to live nearby.

Relatively easy fix. A bit of acetone on a cotton bud will clean the sockets, then jewellery glue on a paper clip tip dropped in. Moisten a finger, pick up rhinestone with it, carefully drop it in.

@bobsyouruncle Any glue you could use, make sure to apply in place with a needle or toothpick, not pouring directly from the container!:nailbiting::joyful:

I've a bottle of liquid jeweller's glue, which I must have had for thirty years. (!) It's extremely good, but I've no clue what it would be called now.
