Hi Martin welcome to the boards! I found your photos in Gallery (at least I think these are what you're asking about).

How big is your item? May be a wax cast for lost wax casting for a coin.

Hi and WELCOME Martin!!!! You will LOVE it here!!! We also have a lot of fun while exchanging and dissecting information!!!! When posting pictures, 1MB is the size limit, 10 pics per post, and when you upload the files, the very top image lets you click to "post every image full size"....MUST DO!!!!! Piece of cake!!!!!!!!!! You also will find, most of the 'experts' here would like close ups, several angles, dimensions, and any other information you can provide about the object in question.....that should get you off to a great start!!! But I can't help on your wax 'coin'. Sorry.

    GaleriaGila Hola, y'all!

Definitely agreeing... lost wax piece for an ornament or medallion or similar.
I wonder if it would be possible to do a pencil-rubbing or such to get a better impression of the subject...

It looks like a carving to cast a saint's medal of some kind. Just don't ask me which saint.
