HELP w/BRONZE? BRASS? STEEL? COUGAR/PANTHER/CAT STATUE

I bought this off a friend today for $75. I think it's one of the coolest statues I've seen in a while! He said he thought it was bronze. I think it may be bronze, or bronze clad, or brass clad, over something - it is Heavy! At least 40+ lbs heavy.
There is a indention & it looks like stone or concrete or something similar underneath the outer material.
It has some green on the bottom lie some older bronze pieces get.
It measures 17" tall x 16" wide (from paw to tail).
I can't find a signature or mark anywhere on it.
Has anyone seen something like this before? Is there a way to tell if it's bronze? (magnet does not stick to it)

Hi,
Looks like metal clad over concrete. if you do a slight scratch on the bottom what color is it. If yellow could be brass or bronze if silvery it is likely to be spleter.

You can see it's gold under left toe

 

That is a worn spot - not the line I scratched to see if it was gold underneath (below 12:00 is my line)
Is there a way to make it all gold again instead of the black/grey?
