I found this today at a small haitian thrift store today. I think it's signed Weinman? When I looked that name up I found a Ben Zion Weinman, but his signature is different (he uses whole name).
Does anyone know who this artist is? ANd if so, what artwork is this called (I want to see another one so I can tell if signature is pencil signed or signed in plate)
    Thanks

I'm guessing it's surreal not abstract when looking at it again

Would the writing have that stippled look if it were pencil put on after printing?
    Edit: maybe charcoal, not pencil?

I’m fairly certain it is by Claude Weisbuch.

Some publishers would do two different print runs from the same plate with half numbered in Roman and half in Arabic. This way a large edition seems smaller.
