Jivvy the research is my favorite

It's too late. She'll always be "Snipped" to me.

It’s definitely rough like it was carved. Not smooth at all

Guessing the lady has been given a 'satin finish', a chemical process that leaves the glass feeling finely grainy & causes it to be a little more opaque. When I see it on an itaglio, I'm usually pretty sure it is not stone.

Yeah it’s rough where you see the streaking

Are we now talking about the field, the empty area around the figure?

By 'rough' do you just mean not flat, as in rippled or bumpy? Or like gritty or gouged?

When, within 24 hours, you see 3 more cameos with a figure that is an exact match for yours (excluding color), you know you are looking at molded pieces, regardless of the texture.
