Featured Help with hair pin

    I'm not even 100% sure this is a hair pin. It's really heavy for the small size that it is. No idea what material it is but it's bronze coloured, kind of silvery bits on the prongs. It definitely looks handmade as it isn't perfect or symmetrical.
    I'd love to know if it even is a hair pin & what age it is.

    It is lovely, and looks antique. But it is top heavy, which means the prongs are too short for it to work as an ornamental hair comb.
