Featured Help with ID of Large soapstone seal carving

    Couldn't resist,
    He is 9" long and 5.5 lbs.
    I thought there was some writing carved in the bottom, but maybe only scratches.
    Anything special here?

    Wow Really? I honestly had no idea. It had felt glued on the bottom so I took a chance.Thanks blooey!

    My best rock had felt on it when I bought it too, Mikey - sometimes owners do that to prevent it scratching the furniture.
    Bonus for me was that when I removed the felt a very good signature appeared! :D

    Yes show us. Maybe there is a signature mixed in with all the scratches but how to figure that out would take a miracle lol.
